HK Trail ....

another lovely day out at the HK trail ...... round Tai Tam Reservoir from Parkview ....

my lovely iggi loving the long pathways and bridges over the water .....

my 2 handsome boys ...

my lovely nick nick ... not fearing heights at all!!! and getting all excited looking over the bridge down to the water!!!! the fearless little one!!!

the bridge which iggie ran across and back ....

the bundle that was sleeping in daddy's arms ...

til he woke up and realised its not mummy .... then the "eeerrrrrrrhhhh!!!! .... eerrrrhhh!!! ..." started ..... with out stretched arms towards me .....

its a pity we ran out of battery for our camera ... this was a really relaxing and lovely walk (mostly down hill!!! the total opposite of our Quarry Bay Hike up Mt Parker Road!!!!!)

but given how easy the walk was .... we will certainly go back this weekend for another walk ....... and grandma will be in town ... so watch this space for more pics in the parks!!!! :P

little things in life ....

some of the things in life that captures our little iggie's attention .... a leaking hydrant ....

this is begining to be one of our fav lunch places... they serve the yummiest chicken curry rice .... spicy enough to suit our tastes ... and the chicken so tender and juicy .... yum yum .... and this is also the place that daddy introduce "Pork Noodles" to iggie ..... this is a common noodle dish in HK .... and its instant noodles with pork chop ..... so everytime we go to have lunch ... iggie will want to go to this place and order his "instant"
noodles .... :P

surprise!!!

this is a little action that iggie and i invented ... we walk in front of daddy ... and without daddy knowing, on the count of 3, turn around and scare daddy ... "WAAHHHHHH!!!!"

it was quite interesting til there was once when we thought daddy was behind us and we turned and shouted "WWWAAAAAHHHHH!!"

and that was to the horror of 2 middle aged ladies taking their stroll behind us!!!! .... and daddy was walking some distance away behind those ladies!!! ...... laughing at us!

all he needs now is a sweet young gal to sit beside him.... :P

what's on your plate?

so this is what's on mummy's plate ..... yummy chocolate pudding .. with warm premium chocolate sauce oozing out from the middle of the pudding.... freshly cut strawberries and blue berries ... a big scoup of vanilla ice cream sitting on a "bowl" made of pure sugar ......

this is iggie's plate .... empty except for a clean fork ...

this is iggie's face ... wondering "what about me?" .......

spot the difference .. or should i say similarities ....

winner wins a meal at this fancy restuarant in Kowloon .... :P

kids learn fast ....

first they learn to watch how you move your lips and mouth ... and how you talk ... and drink and eat ....

then they start to practice by blabbering and sputting saliva all over everything they come into contact with ...

and the day when they are put to the test .... this FOOD and TASTE test never fails ..... they always come up top grades for this category .... not so on the talking and drinking ....

and of course from level 1 of just chewing off the bread stick from mummy's hand ... they VERY QUICKLY move to level 2 - i take it myself an stuff the food into my mouth .... (cant seem to say the same for talking or drinking levels ...)

munchies anyone????
