different classes to perform a series of songs and sketches ....
first up was a story and sketch by the Pri 1 and Pri 2 classes ... which was totally amusing as the kids all told the stories in sections ... and depending on who was narrating the story, it all sounded different and most time incomprehenable .... thus drawing lots of laughs and giggles from the parents ...
next up was the littlest class .. they are all about 18months old and all of them look absolutely adorable with the xmas hats and small white t-shirts and black tights .... they all looked around the packed hall of parents and flashlights ... and they all seemed dumbfounded and couldnt remember the actions to their songs!! and some of them started crying and one by one .. it was a contagious crying virus .... from the centre stage the small gal started crying ... and soon enough the boys and gals around her started to cry for their mummies ...
it was hilarious!!!!! and some of them got so distracted by the flashlights they started walking towards the edge of the stage ... drawn by the lights!! teachers had to go catch them and plant them back to their spots ... which then another kid will wander off and the teacher had to go catch that little wanderer back ....
the next up were this little groups of 3 year olds ... they had the most adorable outfit with purple feathers and deep red velvet skirts ... again i had no idea what they were singing or acting but the whole performance was great - especially there was this little boy who had the most delightful smile and bright eyes ... and he was practically screaming out the song while the rest were more singing under their breaths .... he was so hilarious .... and after he sang .. he waved wildly and called MUMMY!!! ... and continued to wave and jump up and down ...
next up was iggie's class with 2 songs.... they were so well behaved ... all in their little white t-shirts with a painted xmas tree in front ... again they sang the song that i had never heard of before ... and half the time couldnt really hear the words ... but the actions by the kids were amazing ... they were jumping, waving, swaying their hips ...
and to add to that, they turned to the back of the stage and ran up to the edge again ... and one part of this song, one boy was the dedicated one to sing at the mic .. but he was giggling thru his singing ... and all the kids in the class started laughing non stop ... no one was singing ... hhahahahhah ...
i was so proud of iggie .. he had only joined this class about 3 weeks ago and during this time he had learnt the song and the actions so well ... and he was totally enjoying himself up on stage .... and occassionally waving at me ....
unfortunately i was not very good with the camera and ended up with all the shots that were either too dark or too blurr .... sigh ... but at least there was 1 good picture of him on stage ... something for him to remember by .. :)
well ... til the next performance ... i will be brushing up on my photography skills or at least get a better camera than this 5 years old model..... heehee :P

Aww... watching those little kids must be a very heartwarming feeling... Never mind about the lack of coordination or going off tune.
My little Iggie is very brave indeed. I would have freaked out or hidden behind the curtains being so new to the class and people. I can see that he is totally confident about his part.
U go, Iggie!
yes my little man was fantastic!! you will be so proud of him!!!
