a walk in the park ...

it was an early morning on saturday and i decided to go for breakfast at botanic gardens... yes .... its more for the food than the exercise!! hahhahahha....

ate mee siam and fried fish doufu plus timsum and coffee .... couldnt squeeze in the prata anymore so need to take another trip next week to eat that!!! hee hee!!!

after all the food gorging - we decided to take a 10mins walk to see the swans (walk off like maybe 1% of the fats that we ate!!) ... and it was my little nick nick first trip to "walk the park" ....

now i had purchased this expensive Quinny ZAPP stroller system before i delivered nick nick and with all intensions to bring nick nick and iggie to walk the park during my confinement period and rest period .... even borrowed the baby car seat that goes with the stroller from their godma and all equipment were set and ready to go!!!

ok - i did push that stroller in the botanic gardens before - but that was all before nick nick came - it was always for iggie and instead of a good work out for iggie to exhaust his energy - it was the very pregnant me pushing iggie in the Quinny ZAPP round the park!!!

and after nick nick arrived, he found the car seat too hot to sit in when there is no aircon (and i totally agree as well) ... and cries everytime i tried to put him in ... only when its for car rides and they must be short car rides can we make the journey with him in the baby car seat....

so i never got to executing on my plan to walk the gardens with my two lovely sons ... all through the four and half months of break time ..... but only last saturday did we all really got to go botanic gardens (or as iggie would call it - BoNatTic Gardens!)

so we (grandma, mummy, iggie and nick nick) went for a short walk in the park - but i tell you, the work is no "walk in the park"....

grandma used the good old trusty babybjorn that nick nick is happy to be in ... and i was trying to ensure iggie doesnt run and fall into the pond!!!

so.... though the pictures look like the adults were much happier than the kids ... but believe me... the adults were more TIRED than the kids!!!!!
