it has been a long time since i last blogged ... well - good reason for that - was down with some virus infection and out for two weeks!!! now.. whilst i am sick and out ... we had to start nick on formula milk ... and this is a smart fellow... knows the real thing from the fake! but after much trying... and forcing - we managed to get him to drink the formula and mixed with breastmilk.... boys will be boys ... and soon become man!!! they sure know the real from the fake!!!
anyway this week while on hospitalisation and med leave, i had the opportunity to really "play" with nick nick .. and while grandma went JB with iggie .. i had the whole afternoon to nick nick ... and while we were both just sitting there in front of telly - i realised my little nick nick was grabbing his toes and pulling them to his mouth and sucking them!!! shocked and surprised at how much he has grown ... and even while i am here ... i still didnt notice all the new tricks...
but i do know these two weeks he has acquired a lot - from blowing bubbles and playing with the bubbles with his mouth.... to babbling non-stop with "errr...eerr....yahh...yahh..." ... to blowing at the bottle nipple while drinking milk!!!
anyway the latest of sucking toes top it off - so for a four & half months nick - he has acquired quite a lot ...
iggie on the other hand has grown even more ... he is such a sweet boy ...
when i was sick, he would come kiss me on my cheeks and tell me "rest ok mummy, i dont make noise"....
he has certainly grown up alot - and i am so thankful he is not jealous of nick nick ... and he knows when nick nick cries i would be taking care of him ... and he would ask me "are you going to carry nick nick mummy?" ... and i would tell him yes as nick is still small ....
but iggie loves nick ... even when nick cries.. iggie loves to have nick look at him and smile and laugh... and when everyone is busy and nick cries, iggie would go pat pat nick's backie... now that is a really big boy and big brother!!!
love my boys!!! nick for his new tricks and iggie for his constant surprises of how much he has learnt and grown and now a BIG brother!!!

Wow! This is amazing! My little Iggie has grown up! And sad to say, I am missing all the little surprises Nick is bringing to the world. Anyway, enjoy the moments. Before you realize it, the boys will be men!
Oops totally forgot about Mummy! Hope you are feeling better now.
