all tied up!!!!

ok - its funny isnt it?? how we parents "punish" and "torture" our little ones??? hahahaha .......

before you get the wrong idea, i didnt tie up my kids and put them through any pain .....

no - it was more like babies somehow learn that the world looks very different lying down and sitting up ... so instead of a boring ceiling, they would rather be carried or at least be seated to see the room and the people moving around ... and yes... they are right - ceilings are boring ...

so nick nick again was in his whiny and crying mood to be carried and i didnt want to "spoil" him by carrying him all the time, decided to tie him up in his cot!!!

yes - you read correctly - i tied up him to the cot!!! but it was with the pillow and bolster as cushions and using the muslim cloth - i tied his round fat body to the bars on the cot so that he can "seat" and not flop over and knock himself!!!!

but yes ... it occurred to me that this looked really familiar and we seem to have done that once before ...... like 3 years ago ?!!?!?!?!?!?!?

so i began searching back old files and found the same picture ... but of course that was iggie and he was tied to the chair rather than the cot!!!!

and counting back, iggie was close to 5 months when that picture was taken ... and nick nick is close to 5 months now....

so it seems the cycle does repeat itself and parents just keep doing the same things that once work ..... i am sure we are not the only ones who had tied up their kids to the bars of the cot or the back of the chairs .....
